We were given 15 days to create a fully functional game level in Unreal Engine 4. It had to be Top-Down, contain at least 3 traps, a puzzle and some FX.
I started, using the Top Down template from Unreal. I have done all of the scripting and programming using the node system in Unreal, only using the character template for movement and interaction. The character were given to us as a highpoly model, which we then had to resize, rig and animate by ourselves. Me and a few others used the Mixamo service for rigging and animation, as time was very limited. We then had to create all the assets, FX and lighting by ourselves.
We had one Hero object already made from an earlier course, and this was my Shiva statue, which I animated during this project, to use as a guide during the puzzle. Unfortunately I couldn't finish the programming for this in time, and the movement had to become random and the puzzle hard coded.
Overall I am pleased with the result. Though some polishing is needed.
