A Discovery of Witches

During my internship at Goodbye Kansas Studios in Stockholm I got to work on the tv-series A Discovery of Witches as a Compositor.
I did some work here and there, but I had the main responsibility for these two shots. The smoke in the shot from Episode 1 with the fire was removed before the premiere though (unfortunately).

So what did I do?

s01e01 Fire: Some general clean-up, clean-up of metal pipes, added additional fire, warped fire, added 3D ground, added 2D and 3D smoke elements, added additonal lighting from the fire and graded everything to match, lens-distorted, added grain.

s01e04 Vampire Speed: Clean-up, undistorted lens, Rotoscoped character, created an afterimage using timeoffset etc, for the vampire speed effect. Graded, lens-distorted, added grain.
